EWS SWE Framatome Scholarship
The Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers and Framatome Inc. offer a financial assistance scholarship of $500. The scholarship is awarded annually to a qualified female engineering student who has completed at least one-year of studies at an ABET accredited school with the intention to enter the field of engineering, and who resides in or attends school in Eastern Washington state.

Wanda Munn Scholarship
The Eastern Washington Section has transferred the administration of the Wanda Munn Scholarship to SWE National. This $1000 scholarship is for nontraditional / re-entry female engineering students from the Northwestern United States.

SWE Scholarships Open!
Applications for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) scholarships are now open! Last year, SWE awarded over 330 scholarships valued at more than $1.5 million to deserving students across the globe.

You only need to complete one application to be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible. The application process is entirely online, including the submission of recommendation letters, transcripts, and your resume. Here are some key deadlines to keep in mind:

  • 2024-2025 ABET Upper-class Application (Rising Sophomores Through Ph.D. Candidates) — Apply now through Jan. 31, 2024 
  • 2024-2025 ABET Incoming Freshmen — Apply Feb. 2 to March 31, 2024
