Panel Members:

Michelle Hendrickson

Dr. Hendrickson is licensed as a Professional Environmental Engineer in Washington and a Masters-Level Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. She studied Professional Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Idaho as an undergraduate, Environmental Engineering for her MS and Biological Systems Engineering for her PhD at Washington State University. Dr. Hendrickson is an adjunct faculty member of the WSU School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, teaching undergraduate and graduate level engineering courses.

As a Senior Chemical Engineer in the Flowsheet Integration group, her primary duties include: identification and evaluation of mission elements and systems that impact current or future operations and technical baselines, derivation of process engineering requirements and constraints for facilities, and evaluation of potential alternative mission scenarios. Prior to joining WRPS, Dr. Hendrickson served as an Engineer with the Washington State Department of Ecology Water Quality and Nuclear Waste Management Programs, with particular emphasis in Wastewater Treatment, Waste Management, Cleanup, and Closure. In total, she has over 25 years of experience working on Hanford environmental issues in various roles as a US Department of Energy Contractor, Consultant, and Regulator. Prior experience includes that as an Industrial EH&S Consultant and US Department of Defense Contractor serving as Project Lead/Office Manager on behalf of CH2M Hill, while opening a new project office in Okinawa, Japan.

In 2013, Dr. Hendrickson earned the American Nuclear Society’s award for Best Poster Presentation at the Waste Management Symposium. In 2011, the Eastern Washington Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers awarded her as Hazardous Materials Manager of the Year for work on Hanford tank farm activities and cleanup related issues associated with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. Her nomination as Hazardous Materials Manager of the Year was endorsed by then Washington Governor Christine Gregoire.


Ann Langevin

Ann started working at the Hanford Site 40 years ago as her first job after graduating with a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Washington.  She has worked for Hanford prime contractors and smaller engineering firms.  She is a licensed professional engineer in Washington State, and has held positions such as Principal Design Engineer, Design Authority, and Project Manager.  Her current position is with Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) as the Structural Engineering Discipline Lead (EDL).  In this position she acts as a subject matter expert with responsibilities for maintenance of engineering standards, training and mentoring of engineering staff, and oversight of design products.  She is currently the Eastern Washington Section president and scholarship chair.  Ann’s newest title is Grannie to seven-month-old Tristan!


Marisa Renevitz

Marisa has been a Technical Writer, Programmer Writer, Business Analyst, and managing technical software projects for over 20 years since getting her degree in Computer Science from Seattle University. Marisa went on to get her Masters in Business Administration from Cal State University San Marcos and is a licensed Project Management Professional. Her current position is as the HLW Automation Lead for Bechtel National, Inc. (BNI). Marisa uses the combination of her programming background with her business experience to automate processes and create integrated data warehouses that allow users to more easily utilize their data. Marisa says the best part of every work day is that every day is different and includes a new puzzle to solve. Outside of work, Marisa enjoys creative tasks such as painting, building props, and sewing costumes for her children’s theater groups. 


Tracy Roberts

Tracy is an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems Engineering and Electrical Safety.  Currently, she is an Electrical Design Engineer for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Campus Design, Engineering and Construction group.  Previously, she was an Electrical Engineer and Electrical Safety Subject Matter Expert for Mission Support Alliance’s Facilities Engineering group.

She has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University.


Lori Ross O’Neil

Lori is a Sr. Cyber Security Researcher, Technical Project Manager, and Cyber Security Team Leader at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. In her current role with PNNL, Ms. O’Neil innovatively leads multi-million-dollar cyber-physical research projects. Her teams work in partnership with government agencies, academia, and industry to perform research and development to deliver innovative “first of a kind” solutions in the mission to protect critical infrastructure. She serves on the (ISC)2 Board of Directors a global cyber security nonprofit association, holds a degree in computer science, along with CISSP and PMP certifications.  Prior to coming to PNNL, Ms. O’Neil worked at NASA supporting the Space Shuttle’s avionics and simulations.


Breanna Blair, Panel Moderator

Breanna is currently a student at Washington State University Tri-cities where she is working towards her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Breanna has always had a passion for STEM and loves taking on new challenges. Her wish is to one day work in the U.S space industry as a systems engineer and help lead STEM outreach efforts to excite and motivate the next generation of STEM professionals. Outside of school, Breanna also works as an electrical engineering intern at Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) where she assists engineers on various reliability engineering projects. In her free time, Breanna enjoys being behind the camera, hiking, and going on new adventures whenever she can!
